considered a specialist in osteoporosis and complex internal
medicine and his expertise extends to women's health and renal
disease. Most recently, he has been interviewed by the news media
on various medical topics, and he has lectured on the prevention and
treatment of osteoporosis, a topic for which he has received
advanced training. |

Matthew Mischel, MD,
is an intensivist and as such is comfortable diagnosing and treating
complex medical and kidney related cases. He specializes in the
management of hypertension and all aspects of renal disease and
enjoys helping patients work through their important issues. Dr.
Mischel sees himself as a facilitator to assist patients to achieve

Mark Romoff, MD, has
enjoyed the practice of medicine at Valley Internal Medicine and
Nephrology Medical Group over the last 20 years. His enthusiasm for

Kenneth Bleifer, MD
started Valley Internal Medicine more than 37 years ago. He has been
practicing medicine in the San Fernando Valley and was one of the
first Nephrologists to bring kidney-renal dialysis to the area.
While specializing in kidney disease, hypertension and osteoporosis,
his expertise encompasses a wide range of medicine. He enjoys
focusing on new medicine challenges and complex medical problems.
Dr. Bleifer retired from Valley Internal Medicine in 2006, but is
still active in the community.
