The medical staff at Valley Internal Medicine has years of experience serving the community’s medical needs. Our staff is highly skilled and is dedicated to providing the finest in quality care. 

Noha Barsoum, MD, is the newest member of Valley Internal Medicine's nephrology team. Dr Barsoum comes with much experience in acute and chronic hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and  kidney transplantation. She enjoys working in partnership with patients in renal failure.
Kenneth Bleifer, MD, has been practicing medicine in the San Fernando Valley for over 34 years and was one of the first Nephrologists to bring kidney-renal dialysis to the area.  While specializing in kidney disease, hypertension and osteoporosis, his expertise encompasses a wide range of medicine.  He enjoys focusing on new medicine challenges and complex medical problems.  
  Nicholas Di Domenico, MD is a specialist in hypertension, kidney disease and osteoporosis. He frequently lectures on these and other topics.  It's his personal relationships with patients and their appreciation of his efforts to keep them healthy that motivates him to share his knowledge with the community.  
Sam Elias, MD is committed to providing top-notch continuity of medical care for his patients. He is a strong patient advocate and strives to understand and treat all aspects of his patient's health, both physical and psychological. He strongly believes in preventative care.  
Jeffrey Glick, MD, is a specialist in all aspects of care of the adult patients.  He also sub specializes in osteoporosis and kidney disease, and has done extensive research in hemodialysis.  Dr. Glick is medical director of Burbank Partnership hemodialysis center in Burbank, and a new osteoporosis center in North Hollywood.   
Burt Liebross, MD, is considered a specialist in osteoporosis and complex internal medicine and his expertise extends to women's health and renal disease.  Most recently, he has been interviewed by the news media on various medical topics, and he has lectured on the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, a topic for which he has received advanced training.  
Matthew Mischel, MD, is an intensivist and as such is comfortable diagnosing and treating complex medical and kidney related cases.  He specializes in the management of hypertension and all aspects of renal disease and enjoys helping patients work through their important issues.   Dr. Mischel sees himself as a facilitator to assist patients to achieve their goal of better heath.  
Mark Romoff, MD, has enjoyed the practice of medicine at Valley Internal Medicine and Nephrology Medical Group over the last 20 years.  His enthusiasm for rendering quality care to his patients and his aggressive approach to their diseases and excellent treatment of their medical disorders continue to be his number one goal.   Dr. Romoff is a well-balanced physician who enjoys treating families and taking care of all their health needs. 
Edward Weiss, MD enjoys the opportunity to practice only endocrinology so that he has more time to work with Diabetic and Thyroid patients as well as time to evaluate and treat other types of Hormonal Disorders.       

Nurse Practitioners
Joanna Goll, Nurse Practitioner role as an acute care nurse practitioner allows her to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions. Her special interests are women's health and mood disorders.
